Dezerrae Houk MS, LPC-S
Clinical Director, Therapist
Dezerrae is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve personal growth. With a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Arizona State University, Dezerrae brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice.

Dezerrae specializes in providing personalized, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA+ affirming care to clients across Arizona. She has extensive experience working with children aged 3 and up, adolescents, and adults, addressing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, adults who struggle with a history of childhood trauma, depression, stress, and trauma.

Using an eclectic approach tailored to meet each client’s unique needs, Dezerrae incorporates various evidence-based techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and play therapy.

At the core of Dezerrae’s philosophy is a firm belief in the inherent strength and resilience of every individual. She views therapy as a collaborative journey with clients taking the lead as navigators of their healing. Dezerrae provides judgment-free support, education, and tools to foster growth and success.

LaChelle Strutz
BHPP
LaChelle is a compassionate and dedicated counseling intern currently pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. She holds undergraduate degrees in Forensic Psychology and Substance Abuse Counseling, providing a strong foundation in both emotional insight and behavioral understanding.
LaChelle works with clients navigating life transitions, identity exploration, anxiety, self-doubt, and family conflict. She supports those who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain, offering a space to be truly heard, gain clarity, and build confidence.
Her approach is affirming and inclusive, drawing from a personalized blend of Solution-Focused, Person-Centered, Narrative, and Family Systems therapies. She specializes in identity development, self-worth, and anxiety, and is passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ clients and others seeking meaningful, lasting change.
LaChelle believes therapy offers a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore one’s experiences, heal, and reconnect with self. She welcomes clients to take the first step toward healing and would be honored to walk alongside them on their journey.
